Knee-deep in hell - Hans Rudolf Giger

Swiss painter, sculptor,designer.
Debuted with art books called "Necronomicon".
And,everyone knows his masterpiece Alien(which gained him Oscar in 1980).
The design of the creature with strong Freudian sexual undertones and multiple phallic symbols, while simultaneously presenting an overall feminine figure, provided a compelling androgynous image, conforming to archetypal mappings and imageries in horror films that often redraw gender lines.
The huge worms in Dune movie were also by his design.
Also:Poltergeis in Poltergeist II,Sil in Species, batmobile in Batman Forever.

Journey to the dark continues - Beksinski

I saw his paintings first when I was about 10 y.o, on the exhibition in my hometown.
Beksinski was an architect, a photographer, painter and a digital artist.
He never added a title to any of his works - therefore, let them speak for themselves.

Dark erotic

John Santerineross is a New York based “image maker” who has been referred to by the media as “the world's leading neo-symbolist photographer of our time.” Like the symbolists of the past, John’s controversial photographic art explores ageless taboos using a combination of dark themes and sexuality which are inspired by subconscious dream imagery, religious iconography and Jungian archetypes.

Old horror movie posters :D

Why always there's a monster and naked/almost naked woman? hahahaha :D

I've just read an article in Newsweek which claims that most desirable women make an impression of being helpless and in need of protection, and most desirable men are these who have an opportunity to show their physical abilities/powers in front of some audience.
If that's so, rescuing a sweet blondie from a wicked and pervert monster is exactly what everyone needs. Maybe, except for the monster.

Cute Overload!

www.cuteoverload.com
is, basically, a website with loads of photos and videos with cute, little animals.
Also, people can send them their private photos.
So, if you want to see your precious kitten on-line, just e-mail them.
It's very popular.
Cuteness sells?
(always some inspirations if one were up to do same catfood adds or so... but not only. Simon's cat is a good example of being inspired by animals.)

SIMON'S CAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

First was cat-man-do,
but Simon forgot to sign his work of art, or - didn't expect such an international fame it will bring him.

Then, 'let me in'

Then, TV dinner

Cat-man-do won 'best comedy' at the British Animation Awards!
Also, Simon's drawing style reminds me a bit of my own.
Also, this guy knows exactly what is a cat's personality. :D
Love u, Simon!
